Tracy here from Klickitat river guides.

Looking forward to another great season guiding the Klickitat. My father founded our drift boat fishing guide service in 1969. This now makes my 30th season guiding the Klickitat and my sons 4th. What I have Learned in all the years is you never stop learning. Having the only guide fishing use permit on the wild and scenic section of the Klickitat has spoiled me over the years. About one and a half miles up from the mouth on the Klickitat the river drops into a tight canyon in this little canyon there is a Native American dip net Fishery. It does hurt to see how many Steelhead and salmon are taken and sold and it really hurts when they our keeping native steelhead I have no problem letting these fish go as regulated But with all of the talk about lower run sizes one would think another nation would not have more rights than us.
