Date: Jan 15th, 2010

Name: Lake Huites

Hottest Baits: Swimbaits, 7 inch senkos, large crankbaits, 5 inch senkos

Hottest Colors: firetiger, Cirtus Shad crankbaits, watermelon senkos

Date Fished: Jan 13th to Jan 14th

Comments: Good numbers and quality. With Lake Huites slightly stained over most of the lake the bass fishing continues to be excellent up the canyons and near the railroad tracks. Dark colored crankbaits and watermelon/golden lizards working excellent. Mullet colored swimbaits, along with Pearl colored swimbaits seem to catch the bigger black bass.
