Comments: Bob Schriewer and Jerry Ballard just returned from bass fishing at Lake Huites via private air out of Choix and John Owens and Jeff Pope just got to the lodge also via private air into Choix - a great way to get to the lake! Excellent, excellent bass fishing! It's off the charts with 4, 5, 6 and 7 lb. bass caught in the canyons in 12 to 14 feet of water on Senkos and crank baits. Extreme weather did force us to close down the lodge on the 23rd of January due to very high winds and almost monsoon type rains.
