Our morning trips have had beautiful sunrises and the fishing has been awesome. The points and passes have been holding Snook in good numbers and with a healthy green back they have not been bashful. This week we caught several fish just under the slot and

A hand full of fish in the slot. Boy when these fish turn on they are a blast.

There are still some Redfish around and it seems that the bigger fish are hanging in the deep passes running into the Gulf. These fish have been feeding on pass crabs and green backs. This week we have not targeted these fish due to so much action with Snook and Tarpon.

The Tarpon are still running early and the best time to target these fish is with an early start. The Skyway is still the place to go to target the trophy silver king but our backwater bayou is stating to get hot. There are plenty of Tarpon in the 15 to 40 lb class and an occasional 60+ pound range fish. This week we have jumped a good number of Tarpon at the Skyway Pass with little success of getting the silver king to the boat.
