Mahi-mahi in Mexico
<p>As we get to the beginning of September we start to slow down with tourist. As parents get kids back in school and people start putting the summer behind them in their minds, vacation thoughts go on the back burner. But, fall here in Mexico on the shores of the Caribbean Sea is a great time.
Hotels have great deals and the fishing is still pretty good.
Normally this time of year we get wahoo. However, yesterday, Sept 1st was a great day. We only sent out three boats for four hour trips. The Wild Bill came in with an incredible 17 mahi-mahis in the morning, and 6 in the afternoon. Big Fish knocked down 12 in the morning trip.

Bio: The Yucatan Peninsula offers unbeatable vacation options and the fishing waters are famous worldwide! Peak fishing season runs from early March through early July when Sailfish and Marlin are migrating through the canal. During these months the Puerto Aventuras marina fills up with yachts from several states and countries with one thing in mind- SAILFISH! What this means is multiple shots at sailfish per day (15 - 20 is not at all unusual.)
