Baitfish continue to pour into the bays & rivers of coastal Maine. Cool ocean temps continue to keep the Stripers at Bay, but all that is about to change. We have seen signs that the Striped Bass run is about to bust wide open. Yesterday while fishing the ebb tide we witnessed an impressive blitz of fish. Hungry Stripers were blowing up on schools of river herring providing us with a couple of hours of exciting fishing. Flies and soft plastics like the white 7" slug-go fished on 3/4 oz jig heads worked extremely well. A new moon & warm 65 degree water coming down river have triggered some small worm hatches on the mud flats.

As usual we will have some of the new Airflo fly lines as well as a bunch of new rods & reels and othe fun stuff for you to play with this season.

Reservations continue to come in for the 2008 Maine Striper & "Football" Bluefin Tuna season!!!
