The weather is nice in the Gulf of Alaska and our crew is doing an overnight trip with two days fishing and lodging at the Port Ashton Lodge.

This trip provides our customers the oportunity to fish for multiple species over a couple of days and to enjoy real Alaska at a remote lodge while fishing for multiple species to include Halibut, Salmon and Rock-fish. The crew even took the gear and mentioned looking around for Salmon Sharks since the lodge is located fairly close to a bay known to fill up with feeding Salmon Sharks that follow the Pink Salmon run every year.

My next report will provide details of the trip to include the fish caught and the lodge.

Be sure to check back in for the follow up report.
