With all the reports, arrived at the dock with great expectations this week. Rounded the hook both days and headed South working birds and marks. Jigged our boat limit of Bass to 41" in flurries by 9am and played catch and release until noon. Easily pulled a 6 man limit 3 times over with quality purple fish, keeping our legal limits as pictured. In addition to our Shimano Tekota 600 boat outfits we added 3 Shimano Baitrunner 4500b outfits to our arsenal this year and they were a blast to catch these fish on.

We released four fish this weekend with ALS tags in them. Three of which measured 35" to the fork. We will enter Keith's 35" into Hi-Mar Striper Clubs interclub tourney to set the bar for largest tagged and released Striped Bass.

Released another would-be keeper trolling Stretch Plugs when the action died off.

Sotmach contents revealed the fish were on Butters, Herring & Rainfish.

Great way to kick-off the season with a great bunch of guys on the water.
