If you can spare the time - get out and try for some Perch. The big females are fattening up for the spawn and will take anything that resembles a minnow.Flutterhawks, willow spoons, swedish jig/pimple, and actual minnow rigs will be your best bet for the big ones. Slow presentation is the key as it takes fair amount of patience to land those jumbo's. Trick is to let your line out when you notice it go limp ( they more or less suck it in and swim away with it) - let them have some time to get the bait down and then strike - quick hands often leads to a heavy pull then nothing - you have ripped it out of their mouth. The slower on the draw the better.

Good luck and good fishing.
