Monday Sept 16th: Wade fishing w/ Captain Doug or Tearin' Em Up! Charters at Indian Beach. Threw my new Lee Fisher Net and caught 'bout 40 Spanish Sardeens, half hand size. Hooked one on a super sharp Gamakatzu 2o foating with green/red cork, and 6 ft of 80# mono. The poon this morning were a little finickie, only a few bumps all morning, however just being in the water with these primal fish is impressive. Seeing them gulp air, and looking down their throat, without the comfort of a hull, is a special moment. Soon the reds blew threw with such fury, moving walls of water, their tell tail wake. I was able to hook up 3 fat boys all around 27", Kissed Em & Threw Em Back!
