Prince Rupert Late season Halibut Fishing
<p>A forty minute boat trip to the Skeena mouth late in November can produce some giant Halibut. All the Coho Salmon flushing out of the river creates a great stink. This scent attracts large and aggressive Halibut feeding on the dead carcasses. Yesterday was no exception with four great Halibut coming to the hook. Two had to be harpooned because of their size. My friend Jack is in heaven playing one of these big bruisers. The boat is on my trailer now and will be put away for the winter tomorrow.
I will be submitting some fishing reports from Mexico over the next three months. Some will be surf fishing others will be boat fishing. Cheers to all this Christmas season.

Bio: Prince Rupert fishing charters guide for 25 years. We specialize in catching large and aggressive Salmon and Halibut. Welcome to the Deep Spring Charters home page. My company specializes in catching large and aggressive Salmon and Halibut. These are not our only targets though. I love seeking out Ling cod, Snapper and Rock fish where they live. These fish are not safe when I am on the water. It is not uncommon to have all my fish coolers filled to the top by the end of the day. I call this food gathering.
