Sept. 13 fishing condutions not the best in the world but a lot of fish were landed over the weekend. One boat had a catch of 19 trout most of which were large 20 inch fish. They were fishing with live shrimp in 6 to 8 feet of water. On the redfish Duke Sickle and Myself caught and released over 30 Redfish. Most of our fish were caught on live shrimp but we also took many of them on Gulp pealer crabs. On Tuesday of last week I landed several large Reds on the Gulp white Jerk Shad, one of which was over 32 inchs. All the Reds that were caught were release un harmed to give someone else a chance to fight them. The Trout and Redfish action is just getting started, put off the things to do list and take a day to have a little fun.
