Repeat customer J.R. Carlow of Harrisville Rhode Island was aboard once again for a day of cod and haddock fishing on board RELENTLESS. JR was calling during the week to make sure the trip was a go after a low presure system moved in canceling fishing trips earlier in the week. With the weather cooperating with not much wind, JR and his crew met the boat early in the AM with a frosty start to the morning. Once all the gear was stowed, introductions made along with a safety brief, RELENTLESS was underway from Green Harbor in Marshfield, MA headed to Stellwagen Bank. Captain Curt Maxon along with Captain Jerry Mulcahy who was the mate for the day made sure everyone was all set for a great day of fishing.

Fishing East of Stellwagen Bank this group of anglers had a fished sat with JR Carlow steady pick of haddock, cusk and some nice codfish to 20lbs. Most of the fish were once again were caught on bait.

he ride home was nice with everyone riding in the cabin while Jerry filleted the days catch allowing each angler to go home with plenty of fillets of both cod and haddock. JR and his crew has fished aboard RELENTLESS several times in the past decided the next trip this summer would be a combination school tuna and cod fishing trip. We encourage these trips due to the opportunity to go home with groundfish and tuna steaks.

RELENTLESS CHARTERS still has excellent dates available for cod and haddock fishing. Also remember it will not be long before we are running for striped bass, tuna and shark. If you are interested in getting out on one of these trips for a shared or private fishing trip, send an e-mail to captdave@relentlesscharters.com I wish everyone tight lines and I hope you enjoy the report.

Respectfully,

Captain Dave Waldrip
