5/4/10 Lough Currane was at a stand still this Easter Monday with strong SSW wind blowing and most anglers headed for the liquid department, and the high stool, but the same couldn't be said for Mr. Bernd Rall of Germany who headed straight for the Butler Pool with his single-handed fly rod and caught himself a fine lightening fresh 9lbs Salmon with his Gillie Mr. Michael O'Sullivan of Waterville boats and @ Watervilleboats@gmail.com amount of rainfall 26.6mm, max air temperature 11.3c. 6/4/10 Lough Currane was on the calmer side today even though there was a big flood coming down the Commeragh and as you can imagine, Mouth the Commeragh wasn't fishable until late this afternoon and didn't take long before my Noble salmon was caught by Mr. Mattias Gruber of Germany, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O'Sullivan and @ www.Vincentsfishing.com wind SW then veered NW light and overcast with the odd heavy shower, amount of rainfall 8.9mm, max air temperature 12.2c. 7/4/10 my noble German Angler Mr. Mattias Gruber was at it again with his fly rod in the mouth of the Commeragh, when he caught a fine Salmon with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O'Sullivan and of www.vincentsfishing.com Wind WNW light with reasonable cloud cover with light April showers throughout the day, max air temperature 11.7c. 8/4/10 What can I say, not a lot, even though there were a few rod benders, they all turned into losses Wind SSW light with reasonable cloud cover, max air temperature 12.7c. 9/4/10 There was some good action in the Mouth of the Commeragh, I will start with Bernd Rall of Germany who caught a fine 10lbs Salmon on the fly with his Gillie Mr. Michael O'Sullivan of Waterville Boats and @ Watervilleboats@Gmail.com also in good form was Bernd's good friend Mr. Mattias Gruber who also caught a fine 8lbs Salmon on the fly with his Gillie Mr. Vincent O'Sullivan and @ www.Vincentsfishing.com and for the rest of we anglers no comment. Wind SW then veered SSE light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover at times, max air temperature 14.2c. 10/4/10 All quiet on the SW front after yesterdays good action in the fly department. Wind SE light to fresh with bright sunshine all day, max air temperature 17.4c. 11/4/10 Again bright sunshine and not a cloud in sight and my noble Salmon were like the clouds in the sky. Wind was SE then veered WNW and veered again into the WSW light to calm in all directions, Max air temperature 18.4c. That is your ration from your Gillie and the Waterville Fishery. No Spin No Fly's just facts.
