Salmon fishing is fair to good straight out South and North of the harbor in 65 to 95 feet of water. Be there at first light or late evening for the best bite. Fish the top 60 feet of water. Try magnum and regular size spoons off the downriggers. Dodgers with Squids or fly's have been working well 60 to 100 feet back off the downriggers, or off the dipseys back 120-140 on the counters. Best colors have been blacks with glow, yellow tails, purple and green with glow ladders, greens and blues. Ten color leads have also been working well with spoons.

Lake Trout fishing is good straight out, South and North of the harbor. Dodgers with spin and glows or cut baits are still working well fishing close to the bottom. Try fishing in 90 to 120 feet of water.

Steelhead are being taken around the color lines with bright colored spoons.

Bass fishing is good inside the harbor and close to shore casting around the weed beds with body baits. Perch fishing is still poor but there have been some reports of some perch being taken around the Port Sanilac area with minnows.

Walleye fishing is good straight out and North of the harbor in 50 to 80 feet of water trolling with night crawler harness or hot and tots or small body baits. These have been some nice size ones too!

Keep those lines tight!
