/3/08 a strong NNE wind with violent gusts first this morning but as the day progressed things calmed down to a reasonable tone, with the wind veering between NNE and NNW at times and overcast with the odd light shower, but with all that, alas my noble Salmon weren't in a taking mood. Amount of rainfall in the last 24 hours 3.5mm.

/3/08 A nice few boats out fishing but all drew the jokers card. Wind NW light to fresh and overcast with the odd shower in the afternoon and came in heavy this evening but didn't last long. Water temperature in Copal 9.9c/56f air temperature 13.2c/55f.

/3/08 hale stones and light to fresh NNW wind and plenty of sun breaking through but with all that my noble angler couldn't procure the old gentlemen. Air temperature 47f/8.6c. Amount of rainfall 2.5mm.

/3/08 fishing conditions this morning weren't the best with the lake being like a milk pond but that soon changed around 11am when the wind went SW then veered SSE and the fly Stations were in full action mode, but there was only one boat that saw action that was Mr Jean Marie Dabel of France and his Gillie Mr Vincent O'Sullivan of WWW.Vincentsfishing.com who caught two salmon on the fly at the ledge in the Mouth of the Commeragh, both fish were in the 9 to10lbs class and for the rest of we fly anglers the least said the soonest mended and the same goes for the anglers that troll. Wind in the afternoon SSE fresh to strong with light and at times heavy rain, amount of rainfall 9.2mm.

/3/08 It was a wild day with a strong to WNW blowing and all fly stations were nigh on impossible to fish unless you wanted to be a contender for a cardiac arrest and I can tell you there were a few Gillies in contention fair play to them, but with all that Lough Currane came up with the goods for Mr Jean Marie Dabel who caught a fine 9lbs on the troll with his Gillie Mr Vincent O'Sullivan and @ Vincentsfishing.com. Weather as I said strong winds and hale showers throughout the day, amount of rainfall 3.7mm.

/3/08 It was a wild and cold day on Lough Currane with strong to storm force SW wind blowing followed by hale storms with thunder and lightening and all anglers on the north side drew a blank but it was a different kettle of fish on the south side where Mr John Bojtor of the UK and fishing out of WWW.Lakelandshouse.com caught a fine 8lbs salmon on the troll going by the Ship with his Gillie Mr Mike Dwyer. Weather as already stated except for the amount of rainfall of which was 14.3mm. Air temperature at its lowest was 6.2c/43.16f.

/3/08 made a reasonable flood through the night and early this morning, so as you can imagine my noble salmon weren't in a taking mood, and as the lake was a bit on the dirty side that is not surprising. Wind SW light to fresh with heavy showers throughout the day, come late afternoon the wind veered NE. Amount of rainfall 14.6mm. Total amount of rainfall for the week was 47.8mm/1.88188976378156. That is all the news from your Gillie and the Waterville fishery. No spin no fly's just Facts.
