1/3/10 All quiet on the SW front. Wind W then veered SW light to calm with reasonable cloud cover. Amount of rainfall 5.4mm, max air temperature 10.7c. 2/3/10 Lough Currane was on the wild side with a strong southerly wind blowing and overcast, but that didn't deter Local Gillie Mr. Mike O'Dwyer from going out this morning and catching a fine 8.5lbs Salmon on the troll. Wind as all ready stated, max air temperature 9.2c. 3/3/10 All quiet in all departments. Wind NNE light with bright sunshine throughout the day. Amount of rainfall 14.9mm, max air temperature 10.1c. 4/3/10 Not a lot to be said on the Salmon front, but to all you pessimistic anglers out there, believe it or not we are up on last year's catch, well we will be, if one is caught by the 9/3/10 today's wind E light with bright sunshine throughout the day, max air temperature 9.2c. 5/3/10 Lough Currane was on the quiet side even though there were five boats out manipulating their baits. Wind E then veered NW light to calm with clear blue sky's, max air temperature 9.2c. 6/3/10 Lough Currane saw some good action today, first in the Wild Atlantic Salmon zone was Mr Dan Sugrue of Tralee and Waterville, when he caught a fine lightning fresh 9lbs Salmon on the troll with his Gillie and good friend Mr Brod O'Sullivan of Stella Maris Guesthouse Waterville, also in good form was Mr Michael O'Sullivan of Waterville Boats and @ Watervilleboats@Gmail.com who caught a 8lbs Salmon on the troll along the North shore, but Salmon of the day goes to Mr and Mrs Breen with a C&R. Wind SE light to calm with reasonable cloud cover. 7/3/10 All quiet on the SW front after yesterdays action. Wind SE fresh to strong at times with bright sunshine all day.
