The squid arrived on Tuesday May first, and it has been going strong every night. On the 2nd larry and charlie from Long Island New york had steady action all night with the peak at around 3:00 am, mid flood tide.On the 3rd capt. Dom of coastal charters reported a big jag of fish

a little farther up the bay, and on the 4th I had Andy from New Jersey. The pick was good early, but slowly died off. He had about a bucket and a half for four hours fishing.On the

5th and sixth I fished Pt. judith with good action, but This areas run is still not in full swing yet. The number of fish in Newports run appears to be very high and the average fish large.
