Vancouver, British Columbia - Freshwater Fishing Report
Chilliwack river
Brian McKinlay

Hello from Vancouver BC Canada!

the last 2 weeks of December was record setting cold and snow but now we are back to normal with great fishing conditions for Steelhead on local rivers. Fishing over the last week has been getting better each day and 2 days ago I was out for some fun checking out some new runs. Did quite well and beached a nice 13 lb Hatchery fish which you are allowed to keep so I did. The fish are just entering the river now and will be for the next 2-3 months so if your up here I very much recommend booking a trip for BC's trophy fish! the Steelhead.

tight lines!
