Good Day,
It is getting to be that time of year again where we will be taking anglers out to target Stellwagen Bank cod and haddock. On April 1st, the area known as Stellwagen Bank will open up for some great fishing. When you fish this area for cod and haddock anglers have an opportunity to land other species such as wolf fish, pollock, cusk. The fishing usually is excellent with anglers using jigs or fresh sea clams as bait. The trips average 10-11 hours and anglers normally go home with a respectable amount of fillets for the freezer. We will target codm haddock and other groundfish right through October.
Come June, the schol bluefin tuna will arrive and what a year it was last season with some fish over 150 LBS. You don't have to go to the canyons on a long trip to find thes great fighting fish. They are often within 14 miles of our docks on Stellwagen Bank allowing you to catch the fish of a lifetime or even go after other species on a combination trip.
We offer both private and open boat trips, for those anglers who can not get six people together and have reasonable rates.
