The fishing on Guntersville has been great the last couple weeks with the fishing finally settling into the true summer patterns. The best option has to throw a frog and flip the matted hydrilla and milfoil along the main river for the bigger bite. Although the bites are way down the size of fish has made up for it with al ot of 4-6 lb fish. If you want to do something else you can go on the deeper ledges and shell beds and throw a Moab Custom Crankbait in Guntersville Shad or Tweaty Bird. There has also been a lot of schooling fish along the main river although most are 1-3 lbs still fun to catch 20-30 in an hour. Fishing should only improve as fall approaches.
