The fishing on Guntersville the last few weeks has been really good. You have to work at it and might fish alot of areas with little success but when you find them it's fast and furious. You can fish shallow or deep depending on your personal preference. The deep bite is a patience deal with being at the right place at the right time being critical. The shallow bite is consistent but you are not going to catch them cast after cast like you can deep. The best depths deep have been 10-18 ft and shallow has been 3-6ft. Shallow we have been flipping the Strike king Hack Attack Jig in 1 ounce and 1 1/4, swimming a Rage Iguana, and throwing a Spit N King. The best deep baits have been the Tour Grade Football Head Jig, 6XD crankbait, and c-rig Iguana. The fishing the last few days has been slower for some reason but still catching fish. I have July14th,18th,21st,22nd, and 24th-26th open. I am also booking for Aug-Oct.
