Surf fishing continued to be good yesterday with many nice sized bluefish, puppy drum, trout, flounder, and some mixed bottom fish being caught. I got a report of a 42″ drum released at 8:00am on the beach right behind the store. Jay Bender reported catching 12 speckeld trout at first light in the surf near the Black Pelican resturant. Ed Hufford was drum fishing last night in Corova and released 6 along with many sharks. I did not do as well, fished for an hour this morning and maneged to catch one bluefish and had 5 Gulps bit in half. The Wright Memorial Bridge crew did well on stripers yesterday easily catching a limit. Inshore boats reported great albacore fishing, and offshore boats returned to the docks with a nice catch of dolphin, wahoo, and a scattered tuna. The water temperature at the Duck Pier is 73.9. There is a high tide at 8:06am and a low tide at 2:28pm followed by a high at 8:23pm.

Good Luck,

Chris at Sharky's
