Details:The XL 75 and the XL 75 Super are hybrid units with some features of the electric reels and some of the line pullers it may be used to retrieve buoys. They feature interchangeable spools and may be used on any conventional rod or by using our rods with the pivoting system for extreme flexibility of use. The XL 75 Super, includes the variable speed control and the battery charge indicator.

The reel packs some power and works great for deep drop and as an electric down rigger. The only thing about it is that it is somewhat awkward to handle when you first get it. The handle on the side of the reel makes a big difference. I bought 2 spools in addition to the one that came with the unit. I particularly like the ability to add drag with a gloved hand the location of the spool facilitates that. Add your own review |
