I fish for snook, tarpon, and offshore species with these. I don't like full circle hooks as I miss man fish.... These are my favorite hooks and all you will find in my box now! We use these for tuna, dolphin, sailfish, stripers, cod, etc. I do a lot of catch and release fishing so it comes in handy. This isn't a full circle hook, but I find that you get much better hook up ratio on these verse those full circle hooks. They come very sharp too and can be used over and over again, especially if you haven't hooked many fish on them.
