<p>The last week of fishing has been good for the most part. Some days are better than others but that's how it always is. We have been catching fish from from 3 to 18 feet of water on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, worms and jigs and a few on a spook. There are some fish schooling right now also. Numbers are there and the big fish just come in the mix. You need to work through the small ones to get the good ones going. The flipping bits is starting to come on a little and should improve over the next few weeks. On a few days I was the drum king on a few of the stops. Some where upwards of 40 lbs. The biggest I have ever caught. We have also caught crappie, stripes, and some spots and catfish. I have the bait down because I am catching everything that swims so you know the hatch is matched. Also the shad spawn is on. I have seen them in several of the stops.

Good luck and let them go after a quick picture.

I have days open next week and the following if anyone wants to get out for a half day or full day trip.
