After a very, very slow July(usually the month of the biggies) and slow first week of August, the tunas are in and so are the blue marlins. Prior to Hurricane Dean we were hitting the Kings and on the 16th on a 1/2 day charter tagged and released 2 blues over 300# on 50 lb tackle. Released some yft and kept some, no wahoos.

The king mackerels are voracious and our small ballyhoo are producing 30 to 50 lb fish with an average of 8 to 10 hits in 1/2 day(early am).
