South West Miramichi
First day of the season was a great start to the fishing season on the Lower section of the Miramichi.
Fish count day 1 April 15th Ron and Guide Rodney Colford 5 fish in boat, several tacks.
Bill and Guide Gary Colford 0 fish, and fished at Cains River.
John C and Guide Jeremy Colford 25 fish in boat, 5 salmon and 20 grilse.
Clark and Guide Pat Colford 6 fish in boat,several tacks.
John W and Guide Malcolm McCormack 10 fish in boat, 4 salmon 6 grilse. One was 44 inches long.
There was tons of fish being caught all day by different boats, some having high as 35 fish per boat with two rods per boat.
