2008-05-27 22:01:59
St. Johns River, Florida - Freshwater Fishing Report
Sanford Area
Eddie Bussard

I had one of my regular Clients Joey Williams

fishing the past two days and the flipping fish were

really fired up.Joey has been fishing with me for the

past 9 years and comes to Florida to do one thing

FLIP for big fish. The bites were steady both days with Joey catching 10 to 15 fish each day on a JuneBug Blue Craw rigged with a 1 oz weight and 80#

Power Pro Braid.Biggest fish for the two days was

8 LBS with most weighing between 3 and 6 LBS.

The shiner bite is still going strong as well.

PLEASE CALL FOR SUMMER SPECIALS STARTING IN JUNE.

The St Johns River will produce Trophy fish year

round because of the current keeping the water temps

cooler then the area lake's.I lost my camara over

the side of the boat yesterday so I have no pictures

of this trip.Sorry.I picked up a new camara tonight

so we will be back to picture taken on the next trip.
