Vancouver BC and Fraser river valley fishing report

<p>Fraser river guided Sturgeon fishing trips in the Mission to Chilliwack BC area!: The Fraser river is still dropping and we are continuing to have some very good Sturgeon fishing success this summer. We are getting some very nice fish each trip! This past week we landed a gorgeous 8 foot 8 inch beast, well over 350 lbs!! (see pic), a 7 foot 5, a 7 foot, many fish between 6 and 7 feet, and did battle with a monster 600 lb Sturgeon for 15 minutes, watching it leap right out of the water behind our boat. The Sturgeon are here and biting provided you've got good bait, and we do. Some nice fish are available and being taken, we are hooking 7-8 footers but most Fraser river Sturgeon are 4-5 feet(50-75 lbs) with the odd shaker. Everything is falling into place, so it looks like a banner season is upon us. Summer IS here and the fishing only gets better from here on! We have a Springtime Sturgeon Special on until July 15(put your deposit down before then and save$$), call us for details. Dont forget to book early for prime sturgeon fishing dates from July 15 to Nov 15, this is when the Big boys get taken! with most Sturgeon averaging 5-7 feet! with that 10+ footer waiting for you!! Salmon Fishing for Chinook salmon on the Fraser river should be great this week, the test counts are way up!. Fishing over the last few days has really picked up and it should remain strong for 3 weeks, but if you want to get some of these big fish then better book soon. There's going to be some fantastic salmon fishing on the Fraser river the remainder of July, August and September. 2009 will be a year to remember!
