Stripers are in the lower American now and we should have good fishing through August. The American is one of the few places where you have a chance to catch a relly big striper (40+ lbs.) We see them most days and they are really hard to catch but knowing you've got a chance at one of these bruisers is what it's all about. Most of the fish we catch are between 3 and 12 pounds and are great fun on a fly rod or topwater plug. I will float anywhere from Sailor's Bar to Howe Ave. depending on the fishing.
