Nice King and Grouper
Nice King and Grouper

While fishing the bottom for Grouper, Snapper and others, we always have rods ready for other fish that may pop up at anytime. Many times guest will say " hey look there's a shark " and when we look it's a nice or huge Cobia. That's not the time to think how can I hook them. We always have rods either with a hook with leader or a Felm Lee Eel Lure waiting. Toss your live thread herring or pinfish to them and they will take it. If you don't have a live fish to present the Eel lure is dynamite, buy the ones that are pre rigged with two hooks.

We have caught many Cobia that have regurgitated two to three eels. Wish we could buy live ones down here like they use for Stripers up north.

We catch a million Blue runners on every trip and use them to our advantage. Put out with wire leaders to catch King Mackerel, Barracuda, Cobia and Amberjack..
