Today Preston Stuart, Travis Camp and Dr. Ron Mozingo came down to Hopedale to our dock to do some "CATCHING" and that's what they got.

First thing Capt. Shane and I took our crews back to the spot that we had been limiting out everyday but the trout were gone?? So with the colder water temps we opted to move around and see if the reds were schooled up on the shorelines. Well we hit a couple of shorelines catching nothing but big girls over 27" so after getting 4 in the boat we moved to plan B.

Capt. Shane called me and told me that they had caught their limit already and for us to come in and get on them. So that's what we did. Capt. Shane left the spot to go get on the reds. We started catching trout almost every cast under a cork with Saltwater Assassin Shrimp in the orange color. Just then one cast over on the other side of the boat,,,BAM redfish!!!! Everyone moved to the left side of the boat and finished off our limit of reds in about 7-10min. The cork would hit the water and never stop every cast. After that craziness we started over on the right side of the boat again and finished off the limit of trout!!!

Preston, Travis and Dr. Ron couldn't stop catching and releasing those reds. They caught another 20 or so and said that's enough!!!!!!

Capt. Shane had the infamous "STAN STAN THE MULLET MAN" onboard again this week with one of his clients. Not only did they hammer the trout, but when I called Capt. Shane to tell him that the reds were on fire at spot #1 he told me that they limited out on reds in 10 min!!!! He said that the REDFISH MECCA spot was on fire and that the reds were boiling the water for 100yrds!!! What a spot we have this year!!!

To make things fun today as the guys on my boat were finishing off their limit I cut a piece of rag and put it on a jighead and told them to "Watch This!!!" BAM redfish on and I did it about five times to show them that it wasn't a fluke!!!!

The weather was plain AWESOME today and it dosen't matter if it is nice, windy or cold the fish are on!!!!!
