Sadly, gone are the days when Outer Banks charter boat fisherman worked together for their parties best interest. The fleet used to fish together, and talk on the radio to each other. There were no scramble channels and codes. Just everyone doing everything in their ability to show their people a good time and catch fish. When someone had a good day you would hear things like "pretty work" or "congratulations on your day". Now what we have is heated competition, boats undercutting one another, talking bad about each other on the internet, using scramble channels on the radio, and in some cases deliberately trying to hurt another's business after they have had a good day. So on that note I will not have a pissing contest on this board that is here for fishing reports, instead I will say, Hay Johnny, I had some customers come in earlier and they told me you caught some nice drum the other night, "pretty work, congratulations on your day", good luck in Florida

Good Luck,

Chris at Sharky's
