We are catching largemouth bass on several Twin Cities west metro area lakes. Depending on weather conditions and time of day, bass are activey chasing down crankbaits and spinnerbaits in five to eight feet of water, and are picking up soft plastics when they are in eight to fifteen feet of water. We are getting three to five-pounders regularly mixed in with smaller fish. Muskies are working some of these same areas, and are regularly following baits. We are catching some on bass baits as well as larger muskie baits.
