Been "reel" busy back at the whip and hadn't had the time to post. Like everyone already knows it's on like Donkey Kong just about everywhere. Trout have showed up in full force!

Since last Friday, the winds have laid, and made conditions right to go after the mules in Breton Sound. Limits and close to limits have been par for the course, with most trout 2-6+lbs and SOLID!!!!

Had some of the Mirrolure guys down for some of the action and low and behold big Drew pulled it off again with yet another monster! The last few times he had one over 8lbs on the hook, another over 7 last year, and this trip he managed to hang the biggest of the trip at 26 3/4" which all were photographed and then released. All fish were caught on Mirrolure's 5" straight tails in electric chicken and blk/cht, and my new favorite the Corky Devil in hot pink, and corky fat boys in pearl/Cht.

Now is the time to get your butts on the books to come experience, what it's like to get in on some of this BIG TROUT action! Call direct to secure your date......504-259-5304! Also be sure to check out the website www.CaptKerry.net and find Ought To Be Fishing Charters, LLC. on FACEBOOK!
