I had the pleasure of fishing with Mike Schiro and his sons, Royal and Hunter, along with his friend Rick Condon who is a local firefighter. Capt. Jonathan helped out with the other part of the group, who were some of Mike's friends from San Antonio.

We headed over towards an island in Black Bay and got on some serious fish on live croakers deep under corks. The bite only lasted so long, but was enough to put a 'GOOD' lick in on 'em. I was really surprised at how nice some of these fish were.

I moved us around to a couple of other wells and islands until we hit pay dirt……..and I mean PAY- DIRT!!! The fish were crushing the live shrimp. I literally couldn't keep up with how fast my guys were bringing them in. The crew did an awesome job putting 100 pretty trout in the igloo.

Capt. Jonathan Sanchez also had a stella trip boxing another 100 pretty speckled trout! His crew normally fishes the Texas coast and couldn't believe how incredible our fishery is. It turned out to be another great day down here in Hopedale!

FISHING IS TOTALLY AT IT'S BEST!!!---DON'T MISS OUT THIS SUMMER!!!
