I had the pleasure of fishing with Mike Denkman along with his two youngsters, Michael and Nicholas (The Sleeper). I headed us over towards Black Bay. We stopped on a structure and it was a steady bite for the entire morning. The fish would start and stop, but were all worth the wait, with most avg 2- 4+lbs.
Mike and Michael wound up pulling the weight for the sleeper as he caught so many fish, he got bored with it and wound up napping on the deck. When that happened, I chipped in and helped keep the bite going.
Another 75 pretty trout made their way into the igloo by 9 am. Beating the heat like it's going out of style!!
All fish were caught on live shrimp under corks in about 8' of water.
The end of the summer action right now is as good as it's gonna get. NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN AWESOME TROUT BITE!!!
Along with that, DOW CHEMICAL just opened up our books for the Fall Season. This Fall is looking to be one of the BEST by far in YEARS!!!
