Water temps have been ranging from 84 early in the day to 94 later in the day. The lake is a little low and on a slow fall.

Most all the bass lately have mostly come on a V&M Pork Shad in colors of watermelon/red and junebug fishing them over and through the hydrilla and pads on the creek and slough edges.

Texas rigged red shad or black/blue 9 inch Super Ringer worms bounced off the bottom in the same type cover has brought in some larger bass, especially once the sun gets high. The Bayou Bullfrogs in colors of watermelon or black will catch bass from the heavy matted grass and duckweed mix also.
