Water temps are ranging from 78-83 and the lake is high and beginning to fall.

There is a lot of current in the lake right now so use your current breaks like weedbeds, islands, creek or boat lane crossings, even single trees to find bass. In the open water areas like boat lanes and creeks try using crankbaits in both lipless and diving models in these areas.

Fishing the cypress with a jig or worm is working good also. Try concentrating on the down current side. With the cloudy days right now the sun is not much of a factor. Colors of black/blue, black/green, or watermelon are good choices.

Flukes, frogs, and senko type baits are always good choices in the vegetation most anywhere on Caddo this time of the year no matter what the water conditions.
