Bio: Captain Jeff Smith is the holder of the United States Coast Guards 50 ton Masters license. Raised out west, fishing for trout and largemouth bass with the fly rod, Jeff had a natural progression moving to saltwater fly fishing. Jeff makes his home in Wellfleet, on the lower Cape and knows the surrounding waters well. His favorite passion is site casting to striped bass in the shallows of Cape Cod Bay. On a bluebird day with a low incoming you can be sure he is out there somewhere staked out waiting to ambush trophy sized stripers. As the season progresses, Jeff will be found chasing bluefin tuna east of the Cape as well as Cape Cod Bay. The Carla Noelle is custom rigged for fly rodding and light tackle pursuits for bluefin tuna.
