Had the pleasue of fishing with some guy's from the Pensacola area Friday. Wes, Tom, Bill , and Kenny made the trip over to Hopedale Thursday PM and were ready to go friday no matter what the weather. These guy's were seasoned fisherman and wanted to sample the Speckled trout fishing we have in Louisiana and boy did they get a sample. We started of at the first spot and trout were coming in all sides of the boat all pastic no live bait today. The weather was windy and cold but nobody told the fish. Hit 4 or 5 spots and the limit of trout was in the box. Wes said he wanted the guys to get a few reds to strech the line so we tied on some spoons and spinners and the drags started screaming with bronze brutes. Great day witah great group and box full of fish, Did not see another boat out today I guess the weather was to bad to fish, NOT!
