Went out at day break and came back in around 8:30 AM with eight trout in the 2 to 3 lbs. range and 1 slotted red and could have limited out if I would have stayed longer.

But I was only fishing to get a few fish that I had promised for a retired couple that was going back to Dallas that morning, also to get out of the weekend frenzy. I was looking for and fishing under the larger size mullet and was using soft plastic sand eels.
