The Miramichi was a little quite today with warm temperature's. The water got up today to 71 F. So your chances will be better in the early morning the next week or until it cools down some. Some guys got lucky this morning early and hooked up, But most of the river was very slow. Ian Fortune got a grilse early this morning on a bomber near the Mouth of Bartholomew. There were a couple hooked at Black Brook near the Mouth of Cains River. Also some reports of a couple hooked in the Blissfield area. I got a Grilse yesterday and it was covered in sea lice, so there are some coming very quickly in.

So with the warm weather season approaching try not to play your fish so long. Or try fishing the early mornings late evenings with the temperature cooler. And it will help to pinch your barb for easy release.
