Friday's fishing report
Friday had a great trip with Jay, Mike, and Michael all from La. For a two boat outing in Hopedale. The day started out as expected with trout coming in the boat at daylight. After a couple of hours of catching trout the boys decided to try a hand a catching reds. We ended the day with 50 keeper specs, 12 reds, 1 puppy, 3 flounders and one gar about 25lbs. (released to fight another day). Capt. Anthony had the had the other part of the group and ended up with 65 trout, 8 reds and 1 flounder. All fish was caught on live shrimp and DOA's under a cork. The guys were a blast and all had a good time.
The Fall Fishing is in full swing and the trout and reds are gearing up for the winter.
