Drove into a remote trout pond to do some flyfishing on Monday evening using my canoe. I was hoping to catch the Hex(mayfly)hatch. Not much occuring on the surface but ended up boating 9 brook trout from 10 to 14 inches using a nymph. I fished from 6 to 9 P.M. and was using an eight weight flyrod with a full sinking line. All fish were released. Great fun especially in early July!
