We had our first Fluke charter of the year and it was good fishing. Fished the Raritan Reach, Belford Channel and a few holes.

Mix was 3 shorts per keeper and the keepers ran to 22". A real good ratio of Keepers to throw backs compared to recent years. Everybody went home with at least 5 fish. The fish were all nice and fat.

Using Kellies and or Squid on 3/0 hooks with white or chartruse bucktails......

If this keeps up it most likely will be a banner year.
