We arrived on the Anson side of the Kennebec around 11AM. Trudged down to the ledges and looked over the swift water and eddys and noted the Blue-Wings fluterring around. Set up the client's rod with 6# floating and 3# 36" leader and tied on a Blue-Wing.

It took a few casts for him to get the feel of the set-up and hit the spots along the swift water/eddys and to work from the ledges.

About 20 minutes into the fishing, he had a strike. Lost it, but was really excited. It went up-hill from there.

All said and done, 15 browns were landed ranging in size between 15 and 18 inches and 1.5 pounds average. All catch and release. Then as abruply as it started, not another strike in 1 hr. Called it a day.
