SUMMER FISHING WITH SPEC FEVER:

It's summer and it's time for great fishing with Spec Fever Guide Service…

I have had a cancellation for May 27 and immediate openings for June 2, 3, morning ˝ day on the 10th, 13, 14, and 17.

Specks, reds, flounder, bluefish, black drum and more out of Oriental: The fishing has already been good and will only get better. I am fishing full and long half day trips from my 23 ft center console for up to 4 anglers and weather permitting my flats boat for up to 2. Look for great fishing all summer.

Tarpon and giant red drum:

It is big game fishing at its best. July and August for the "silver king" and August and September for the world's largest red drum. I am booking now, so call or email soon so you don't miss out on this one. Trips are out of the 23 and are for up to 4 anglers.

Beaufort redfish:

Sight fish for redfish in the shallows near Beaufort into fall from my flats boat. Six hour trips are ideal for one or two anglers.

Near Coastal:

Fish the near coastal water from Morehead City for Spanish and king mackerel, bluefish, cobia, jacks, bonito, dolphin and bottom fish. Full day trips from my 23 with a long half day available for family bottom fishing trips.

Long distance kayak trips:

This new and exciting service gives paddlers a chance to fish the wilds of the Pamlico and Core Sounds. I will take up to 3 anglers and kayaks on my 23 ft. to remote areas of the sounds for reds, specks, flounder and what every else comes along. Fishing from Oriental and Beaufort.

Boat Tours:

Spec Fever offers a 4 hour trip on the Neuse River, ideal for touring, sight seeing, bird and nature watching or real estate and a full day trip from Oriental to the Crystal Coast. Shop, sight see, beach comb, swim, dine or do it all from Cape Lookout to Beaufort and Morehead City. For up to six passengers.
