I had the pleasure of fishing with a good friend of mine from Kentucky, Bob Escue, along with his crew John Paul, also from Kentucky, and Tommy Tate from Baton Rouge. This trip was a few weeks back and we had some significant winds out of the South East, we fished for trout for an hour or so as the conditions deteriorated, then opted to head into the marsh for redfish. What a smart move it was as they were going nuts in the duck ponds!

They were crashing corks like no tomorrow. Stick and move was the name of the game as you would pick up 1-6 off each point, pocket, or drain. Windward points with current were the most productive.

They finished up with a nice limit of pretty redfish, 20 speckled trout, 4 drum, and 2 flounder, and 1 sheepshead.
